This listing is for the DIGITAL DOWNLOAD of STL files to print your own SF Bane MK2 Chassis kit. Please note you will need a set of battery contacts as well as a set of Shtok Rotary PCB's. I offer battery contact sets that will work perfectly with this chassis, I recommend the "no post" versions found on my shop. **Please see install notes below**
The kit includes:
1x Bane MK2 Curved Chassis STL file
1x Dual Switch Mount
1x Rotary PCB Holder
2x Speaker Spacers (3mm and 4mm heights)
The chassis supports the Proffie board, Protected 18650 battery (KP 3000mAh 15A recommended), Shtok Rotary PCB and a 28mm bass speaker.
Install notes:
This set does not require any special alignment and is designed to be a solder and go kit using standard 12mm switches or a 12mm switch and recharge port.
Battery tabs will need to be glued in place. I recommend e6000 gel - Its strong and cures in just a few hours. Once the tabs are glued into place, insert a protected 18650 to hold them until they set, I recommend leaving them overnight.
A small dab of e6000 on the Rotary PCB holder will secure it to one side of the handle near the switch section, allowing for easy disassembly and maintenance (if required).
The card holder area was adjusted to allow the board to be lifted as needed to access the SD card. It is is a friction fit so sand as need to make it more easily removable. Kapton tape or a small dab of e6000 can be used to secure the card if you do not plan on frequently adding fonts or making adjustments.
