There are a few BT modules on the market for use with sabers, but the BT909 and BT909C stand out among them. They feature a very strong antenna for improved signal strength, and work with Plecter Labs boards & Proffie with ease. Its important to note that currently, the BT909C does not support PIN entry on iOS. It will connect and function well, but if the saber is left on and available, others with the application will be able to connect and control.
Two options are available - Standard and pre-wired. If you select the wired option, the red wire is positive (runs to the 3.3v pad), the white or black wire runs to ground, & the yellow and blue wires run to TX and RX respectively. Please note that the TX wire on the BT909 runs to the RX pad on the proffie, and the RX pad from the BT module runs to the TX pad on the proffie.
