These brass stem micro tactile switches work amazingly well for both in hilt and switch box applications. Available in multiple sizes, see measurements below. The body of the switch is 4mm by 4mm, the last digit is the height of the brass plunger. More options available than those shown in the photos. The 4x4x5mm have been very popular.
